About this piece
Crest-Carved Sofa
The photos show the piece in our workshop before its final polish and upholstery. What you receive is the finished, polished, cushioned, ready-to-use product.
A sofa with a wavy top rail carrying a carved pediment, scrolled arms and cabriole legs. It is delivered fully upholstered and polished.
It suits a formal drawing room that wants the carved Chinioti look. Matching chairs can be carved to the same crest design, and it can be made as a 4, 5, 6 or 7-seater.
Wood, polish, upholstery and final dimensions are confirmed with you on WhatsApp before we build. Everything is made to order and customised to your room.
How it’s made
We work with solid wood suited to local conditions; sheesham and other hardwoods are common choices because they hold joints well and remain stable when properly selected and finished. Traditional joinery keeps the frame quiet and square under repeated use, and the people who build it are the same people who discuss seater count, fabric and final price with you.
